Summer (Friday) Greedy

Captain teed off with Roy, Simon, and John in what was to turn out to be a day to be remembered:

• Remembered for the well organised event
• Remembered for the fantastic weather
• Remembered for the fact that 3 of us were in the top 5 winners
• Remembered for the fact that poor Simon had a difficult day and the only decent wood in his bag was his pencil!!

But above all, remembered for the incredible amount of money raised by the “Friday Greedy Boys” towards my charity “Chase” (Hospice Care for Children).

A staggering £800 was donated by Gary, Dave, Mick and all the others involved with the Friday Greedy event, run day in and day out by this fantastic bunch of guy’s.

To them and all the Members of the Friday Greedy who contributed, a very sincere thank you from myself and my wife Lorraine for the wonderful donation that we will present to Chase at CHGC at the year end.

Open to lady members, 5 day and full gentleman, 18 holes stableford off full handicap, to be played in three balls.

£27.50 for golf and buffet (sorry, no golf only) £22.50 for the buffet only, guests welcome, dress code smart casual.
